How should I lie to the vein specialist? (varicose veins)

I have varicose veins, and I'm tired of it. Insurance won't cover any procedure unless there is any pain. For those that have had to deal with something similar and had them removed how did you describe your symptoms? I only have itching and swelling as symptoms. Compression socks are awful in the heat and they never fit right. So how should I lie to the doctor exactly?

Tell them you're in pain.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

say you're in pain and claim emotional distress from social bullying and tell them your feel like your confidence has sunk and you've grown quite depressed with potential thoughts of self harm. it's a beta cop out, but oh well.
