Florida should get to hundreds of thousands of daily cases within a few months.

With no restrictions or measures in place, this will snowball out of control very quickly.

FL hasn't had restrictions since like last summer 2020. Its numbers were low even pre-vax (which may or may not actually be effective) when they weren't social distancing / masking. .

This isn't a mathematical model or anything. I'm just saying the way cases are growing, if all else continues, we ought to see a huge explosion in cases. I don't have the data to model anything, aside from current case count. The thing is when you look at how fast stuff has spread and the possibility of super spreaders and low restrictions, you can see how this can explode. And there's a lot of room for it to explode too.

so what? cases going up is expected. we actually need more people to catch it to get to heard immunity. its the hospitalizations and death rate that counts and they are still low

Texas has been mostly open and Florida has been open for the past year and they haven't had an explosion in 'cases' either way. Also, 'cases' don't matter when the test isn't worth ****...

They are going up with the cases. And you have some pretty extreme case counts in some parts of Florida, where there are like 70 cases per 100,000 people. That's unacceptably high if you think about how spreading will work. It won't be long before everyone gets infected with this virus with no restrictions.

You also have to realize that any cause of death has been reported as 'rona if the person has tested 'positive', you do know that right? I used to think most of you were shills, but it seems like you actually believe what you say. It's just hard to wrap my brain around the idea that so many are unvaccinated.
