Maybe. Maybe not. Those who can't travel due to this will spend $ in their own country rather than in a foreign country making up for lost income from foreign tourists. Time will tell how this works out.

Could be. Except some countries are heavily reliant on tourism, take Italy or Spain for example. I can’t see local spending match what a ****load of dumb tourist spend on a holiday.

Most of these countries rely on their tourism to keep them afloat because their locals aren't wealthy and also don't spend their money going out to dinners, sightseeing, buying souvenirs, staying at hotels, using cabs etc.
