instead of putting on those uncomfortable dress clothes, taking a quick ****, rushing a shower, driving somewhere you dont want to be, doing things you dont want to be doing for 8 to 12 hours a day, coming home in more traffic, with only a few hours left before you collapse in your bed to repeat the process the next day....

wouldnt you rather just say "fuk it", and be in your pjs or nakie all day and ldar with a comfy ass blanket or two, watch movies, tv shows, anime, chill out on the internet all day....all in the comfort of your own home...

some days i just get the urge and have to fight it. its so tempting though.

I'm kind of doing this lifestyle right now thanks to Covid. Honestly, it gets pretty boring after a few months.

Professionalism and especially important if you are client oriented. I've experienced the transition from suit and ties to jeans and polos and the work ethic went down IMO. Not good when you are in a competitive environment with other businesses. Business did take a hit.

I was a NEET back in 2010. It was great times actually had just graduated college...economy terrible. Didn't feel like taking any job so said fuk it. My mom thought it was funny, and said "your generation is so dumb"

All I did that year was drink, go to parties, watch world cup, and during the week just the gym, play soccer with my unemployed brahs going thru the same thing, and then for 3 weeks dead srs I watched movies that were in the imdb 250 that I had never seen.

Would bump this every time before going out to the bars/clubs

it gets old after a while

Bruh I just boot up my computer that's my commute, been this way for years.

Can't imagine being content with doing nothing though, the food and the rent are not free.

Plus, there are things I want to do in life that require work.

It get's old. It's better to look forward to doing something than to look forward to doing nothing

Doing nothing is only fun occasionally whenever it's needed

call off when you want
get fired? repeat process
don't get fired? ask for a promotion

so does spending the majority of your time working, week after week...

The thing with NEET-mode is don't go full LDAR mode.

Still lift heavy, read some books, learn chit you want to learn, do things you want to do without worrying about getting up for work the next day..

Watching movies and lying in bed all day ain't gon cut it.
