Should airlines ask for height and weight when purchasing a ticket?

Sitting next to fat people on a plane isn't fair to people.

Height factors into weight. A manlet who weighs 200lbs will be wider than a normal person who weighs 200lbs

Requires more fuel to carry heavier loads

I think our price should flex depending on the weight we add to the plane

They increase prices for checked bags that weigh more. Makes no sense not to do it for the riders weight as well
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

I have sat beside a morbidly obese woman on the plane before. She legit apologized for her fat hanging on my lap (srs) and I was just thinking "why the **** didn't you buy 2 tickets?"

What I don't understand is what happens when 2 morbidly obese people end up buying tickets right next to each other.

"I am like getting the feeling of cumming in the gym; I'm getting the feeling of cumming at home; I'm getting the feeling of cumming backstage; when I pump up, when I pose out in front of 5000 people I get the same feeling, so I am cumming day and night. It's terrific, right? So you know, I am in heaven."

I'm waiting for the day a plane crash is attributed to too many overweight passengers reducing takeoff performance. It's coming.

"But, but, but...discrimination!!! How dare you take my weight when I'm buying a ticket. A seat is a seat!"

Seriously, I used to love to fly. Now, with people's poor behavior, disgusting hygiene and lack of consideration and respect for other passengers, unless I have to get somewhere in an emergency situation, I'll just drive the trip.

I get it.

But this trend of smaller and smaller seats when we know that US butts have been getting bigger and bigger is pretty lame.
The passenger rights group FlyersRights.org filed a petition in 2017 to ask the FAA to establish a minimum seat pitch for U.S. airlines. The average seat pitch — the distance between seats — for a short-haul domestic flight is 31 inches. Economy airlines like Frontier and Spirit have seat pitch as low as 28 inches. Seat width has also been on the decline.

Last May, American Airlines AAL, +0.19% planned forthcoming Boeing BA, +0.29% Max jetliners with two fewer inches of legroom in coach — 29 inches versus 31 inches — but re-evaluated that plan in June to maintain at least 30 inches of legroom.

The seats are tight even if you aren't large.

Meanwhile in most doctor's offices I have space for my butt and a small child or large tote bag.

No. Instead, they should have scales at the boarding gate and charge a deposit for any fatties that go over the pre-determined thresholds
