In just 24 hours after Saturday’s mass protest, police in New South Wales issued 510 penalty infringement notices, Deputy Commissioner Gary Worboys said, according to the Sydney Morning Herald. He vowed that the authorities will continue to investigate the acts of “violent, filthy, risky” behavior.

Ironically they are the most selfish people in Australian society, the rich and powerful leading comfortable lives on the back of the working people. They really made this clear during the fires.

There were even police who were friendly with the protestors, but they choose this photo like it's imperial overseers against the unruly masses.

The Australian people deserve freedom. They deserve the right to protest, the right to movement, the right to speech, and the right to petition the government.

A list of demands can be drafted and demonstrations can bring them to reality. If a government refuses to grant basic rights to their citizens, they can be ousted in a civil manner.

A government that grants no opportunity for civil recouse deserves a justly uncivil response. There is nothing civil about authoritatian rule, and it requires disobedience to achieve a righteous liberation.

Every fee they levee is ammunition for the people in their struggle for freedom and democracy. Free people across the planet are behind the people of Australia.
