Look for independently tested from a trusted tester. I did the same for a magnesium l threonate. That's why I use the magmind brand. It was tested for potency and one failed miserably. Magmind was legit

In my opinion all fish oil capsules are garbage. You need to drink this stuff for best results. Carlsen’s brand is the gold standard, tho I’ve used others too.
