mike tyson wasn't physically gifted. He was small for a heavy weight. Obviously very talented but if anything, he over came his physical disadvantage.

Surely Usian Bolt should be in there.

Usain Bolt ever only did one thing athletic, running. Whether or not Tyson is on the list he would be above Bolt. If you want to argue Usain Bolt then even Michael Phelps would rank higher.

In all honesty, the true athletic GOAT would probably be someone from ancient times. When intense manual labor and exercise was as routine as breathing.

I struggle with the tall guys. They were more or less 1 in 100 talents scaled to 2-4x a regular human's strength from their height.

This statement makes no sense. If anything his physical gifts is what allowed him to overcome the size differences he faced. He was faster, and stronger than most of the guys he faced. The only times he was over matched is when fighting other physically gifted fighters with equal or above skill lvls in Evander and Lennox Lewis.

Tyson was amazing because he had a killer streak and was ruthless not because he was physically gifted. Lewis is a good example of a boxer that is more physically gifted, his reach was immense.
