Tradies, would you consider buying the electric F-150 Lightning?

I'm on the preorder list. I figure if this car shortage keeps up I can flip it for over MSRP and make a quick buck.

It seems like an objectively nice car, if you don't need to travel more than 150 miles (50 miles with a trailer).

Front trunk with AC power outlets

Power your house for a little while (good for Texas and California cucks)

Over 6,000 lbs makes it tax deductible for business use.

Double them because my calculations were based on a round trip.

Ford says it will have 300 miles range with 1,000 lb payload.

it won't work well for tradies since they can't buy scratch-offs and monsters at the charging stations

Not a tradie but ya i would. I have a hemi ram 1500, the only things ive ever towed were gf’s family boat/jet skis at their cottage... assuming that can be also done with this electric truck, what possible reason would i have not to switch?

I will say one thing though, i really prefer the ram interiors to the fords. Ford interior feels like a truck, whereas ram has made it feel more like a “car”.
