Can confirm the GOAT time to be alive

The sun was a little brighter

I was young then but things felt different in the early 2000s. Things felt more free, people were more like people than political ideologues

people barely ever talked about race back in the early 2000s... nobody cared about gender pronouns and any of the nonsense we deal with today.
Everything I post is satire.

Some of it is that everyone is nostalgic about their youth. But yes you're right in that the clown world hadn't taken over yet back then.

Definitely was a lot of fun. Sure, high school was fun from a social, partying, carefree, zero responsibility, debauchery perspective, but come on - elementary school in the 90s? No internet, no tech. Anticipated N64. Christmases were beautiful. Summer vacations seemingly lasted forever. Biking around, playing in the park/woods, hanging out in the swimming pool, trading Pokemon cards, going camping. Fuk me boys I'm getting all sentimental here.

I think it’s the youth people miss and what comes with being young and not so much the time period.

I mean when you were living these moments were you thinking it’s the best time ever?

It’s the nostalgia diluting your memories

This is true but with the shift to social media and internet going into everyone’s hands, we have a more validate point than any of them. My HS years were 94-98 and today’s kids will never experience not being brainwashed or someone trying to force their beliefs onto them at an early age instead of letting them just be kids.
This body holding me, be my reminder here that I am not alone.

you'll never be 15 and in love

lying on the grass on a warm summer night, watching the stars, carelessly chatting

not worrying about rent, bills, student loans

only worry in life is how you're gonna cheat on that history test on monday

you'll never take a young, tight, hot-bodied girls virginity, pulling out to cum all over her back and have her look in your eyes and say "I love you"

you'll never have a girl around every day after school, pretend to be doing homework together, but instead just **** like rabbits

you're in your 20's now

gotta get a good job

gotta be a serious man now

all the good ones are taken

maybe a nice girl will eventually settle with you

they have already felt all those new exciting feelings before, and are usually jaded and bitter

you missed what it feels like to have not a care in the world other than making your girl happy
