A lot of the time they goof up and just don't seem quite human, they'll argue about parts of a video that don't make sense to argue about

Back before Youtube purged a lot of the right-wing channels and the place became a lefty s-hole, I noticed there were always some bogus accounts in the comment section getting tens of thousands of likes for mediocre at best comments.

Some of those are mocking the original tweets but there is definitely astroturfing going on. Just look at Biden's ig account. 99 percent of the comments are bots talking about how awesome he is that happen to be private with no posts.

don't know if that screenshot is real, but a large part of twitter is now fake accounts. online marketing companies make lots of money through fake followers and ads or talking points, and twitter doesn't have the greatest verification system when it comes to simply making an account. this goes for other social media platforms as well. most of these companies don't care if majority of their users are fake until there's pressure from the public to get rid of them, and then they'll ban "a few million" fake accounts for show, only for these fake accounts to come back under new names. at least a third or more of biden's twitter followers are fakes, and it's been proven many times.
