It'snota vaccine. Start over.

whatever happened to nuance and risk versus reward?

if you are fat, old, immune compromised, other co-morbidities probably worth taking

if not old, fit and lean and healthy , no co morbidities make your own choice based on your mental wellbeing

if like me you have had it, got over it, still have antibodies , feel good ......fck the vaccine ...thats me ...you do what you want

I am pro

I would be willing to listen to the anti vax argument if it wasn't framed with buzzwords meant to insult and belittle.

It seems the anti vax crew have to take a stance of superiority in order to make their point.

Why is that?

If there would be more countries recognizing the more "traditional" covid vaccines ( SinoVac/SinoPharm ), I would be vaccinated already. But even though the WHO recognizes at least one of those as a valid vaccine, western countries have jumped on the mRNA bandwagon and do not recognize anything that's not brand new tech ( the viral vector ones are yet unproven to have no long term issues either ).
Main problem with this is governments using vaccination numbers as the basis for removing restrictions. The risk to you on a personal level doesn't matter in that context, what matters is having jabs in a sufficient % of the eligible population.

I'm mid 30s, lean/athletic, zero comorbidities, and I have both jabs. Literally everyone in my personal life has both jabs except one coworker. I don't fear the virus and I also don't fear the vaccine, I got both jabs mainly because I wanted to do my part in bringing up my province's vaccination numbers and bring us closer to putting this chit behind us.

Plus I figure vaccination will be a requirement for travel, and I'm fukking off to a tropical island ASAP

Im pro choice.

IF you get it, I dont care.

I won't be getting it as I dont think I need it.

I also think its stupid to just "trust" a rushed vaccine. I don't care which administration the Dems want to say it was developed under.

I dont think it should be required and I think it is being used primarily as a political tool.

Im anti it for me, I support your choice to get it, even if I think you are dumb and risking your health to protect yourself against something that probably poses even a lesser risk to your health. Its your right. But, its becoming clearer that the government is using it as a way to establish control and remove freedoms from the people as the push and require it, despite the fact that it should be a CHOICE.

I had no choice but to be pro-vaccine. I'm a caretaker for two relatives with severe autoimmune disabilities.

Pro-choice crowd.

60+ are overwhelmingly vaccinated. If it actually works, we should be moving on now.

There has never been a vaccine in the history of vaccines that has caused problems long after dosage. There have been plenty of vaccines in the past that have caused issues, but those issues presented themselves within weeks. Health authorities already have vaccination data going back to last December showing everything we can expect in terms of side effects.

mRNA vaccines in particular are eliminated extremely quickly, and they don't even contain inactive virus parts like many other vaccines that have caused issues in the past (polio vaccine causing paralysis for example)

For those of you saying things along the lines of "rushed", "EUA", "lack of data", etc will your tune change if a vaccine gets full FDA approval? We could see FDA approval very soon.

I think itโ€™s great for people who need it, the rest of us can let our immune systems handle it considering we can still get and spread it while vaccinated but wonโ€™t die either way
