Don't change who you are to fit in with a certain crowd

Underrated life lesson. Disbanding from your true self in order to be liked by some people is just going to leave you feeling empty. I went through it when I was in school, but realized I used to be a lot happier before and snapped out of it thankfully. My 19 year old cousin is the poster person for this. He used to be into running, baseball, had a bright personality, and was really fun to hang out with. Then in 10th grade he changed schools and soon enough he started drinking, saying "lowkey" every sentence, listening to chitty trap music. He's still like that now, but is an alcoholic, has a gut, isn't active at all anymore, has tried to kill himself, is on multiple different medications for depression, won't get a job, and sleeps all day. Who knows if he decides to change will ever be able to fully recover. But yeah, even if the personality you have will only leave you with a handful of friends, at least you'll be happy and it's better than having a huge social circle that will leave you empty and change you for the worse.

I've been friends with many different groups of people, especially through school years, and even today I move in and out of different circles.

Sometimes I'm the hardest MF in the room and other times soft as baby schit by comparison. People respect you for who you are, we can all tell someone who is frauding.

Just be yourselves bros, get in where you fit in.

That being said, your cousin sounds like a loser.
Damn
