10 stabbed on Tokyo train, suspect later turns himself in

At least 10 people were stabbed on a train in Tokyo Friday by a creep who told cops he became enraged when he saw women who “looked happy” and wanted to kill them.

The Tokyo Fire Department said a 36-year-old man went on a spree on an Odakyu Line train at around 8:30 p.m., according to NHK, Japan’s public news organization.

The suspect then fled from the train car, leaving behind what is believed to be his cell phone and the weapon.

The alleged attacker was covered in blood when he later turned himself in at a convenience store a few miles away, telling the store manager he was the man on the news and was tired of running away, according to the fire department.

“I began feeling like I wanted to kill women who looked happy about six years ago. Anyone was fine, I just wanted to kill a lot of people,” The Sankei newspaper said the suspect told police, according to Reuters.

The attacks were not fatal, however one female university student in her 20s was in serious condition, authorities said.

It shows literally nothing besides the fact the media loves to fearmonger and spread these kind of stories to provoke views and paniccel mentality. The media is allowed to propagate these sort of stories even though it was ruled a long time ago they had to stop reporting on suicides because it just incites other people to follow what they see. But they can do it with any other sort of violence or catastrophe to make us scared.

There are over 7 billion people in the world and we are interconnected on a global scale. The fact that events like this happen is a statistical inevitability. The likelihood of it happening to you outside of Brazil or Chicago or Mexican cartel cities is basically zero.
