Wow. Reading on this Chris Chan character reminds me of Jason Genova. Blew up on 4chan, encyclopedia dramatica and it’s theorized kiwi farms really became a thing because of Chris. It was a group obsessed with documenting his ridiculous antics and manipulating him. Posing as online girlfriends, trying to get pics from him or convince him to say crazy stuff for the camera. Contacting his parents etc.

Chris had autism and went viral because of his “love quest” in putting up signs seeking a white female. Later came out as trans and was accused of just trying to get closer to sexual relations with a female. recently discovered to have been raping his 90y.o mother.

I wish I could give a better recap, but I’m learning it all right now. There’s a 59-part YT documentary and each episode is 40 mins. The mother news is all brand new. The only reason this held my interest is because the more I learn, the more I realize that Jason Genova dodged a bullet by getting away from us.

I just read that Chris Chan had been talking to a woman that had been trying to convince him to screw his mom so that she could blackmail him into killing himself on camera. Apparently she’s talked someone into suicide before.

She spoke to him in depth about what he did to his mother. Asked lots of probing questions and seemed curious. Then she shared that clip with someone on discord and that’s how it was leaked.

I’ve heard of Chris Chan but didn’t know who he was until all this and now I’m just mindblown.

Really really reminds me of Genova if some of the more sadistic miscers had hyper focused him more.

Chris Chan makes Jason Genova and the Delray Misfits seem well-adjusted in comparison.

Jason during the Adam Harper era semi-accomplished his dream. Cresva could put up decent weight in his day. And while the Delray Misfits busted his balls, they still protected him from the truly malicious, as did the witnesses for the most part. (Until they started mass doxxing his uncle and got him cancelled by his own family.)

Chris Chan was nothing more than a meme his entire existence, it's not like he got competent at making content or art. Delray Misfits and Jason made entertaining content to a level you could some times laugh with them, it wasn't always laughing at them.
Chris Chan just had a disturbing story throughout, there was no Ruby Classic for him or personal records on certain lifts or any sort of positive development. It was ALL bad. He peaked when he won a shopping spree at like, 7 years old, and that was arguably the moment that broke his mind.

Overall the Genovaverse is way more endearing on every level. Jason, Big Jay, and Lenny's lowest moments get pretty low, no doubt. But Chris Chan seems to be that low or lower before, during, and after the entire Delray Misfits and Genova saga. And the Misfits all balanced out their degeneracy with accomplishing stuff at some point, having a work ethic, making content that isn't just self-humiliation. Chris Chan is only humiliation porn.
But I only seen Chan off and on through the years. Genova and Misfits I actually followed a lot.
