what's the best value for money phone to get right now? (srs)

currently using a pixel 2, but it's dying hard. power button doesn't work, camera doesn't work.

what i want :

- good battery life
- decent camera
- not massive

it's lasted 3 years tbf and about 5 months total travelling in south east asia & south america being thrown around and the shutters just broken on it i think

Reminds me of a doco I watched a couple of years ago about the people that have to screen all that content.

Few questions I took from that though:
It states "US" iPhones. so does this mean it's unlikely to be happening in other countries?
Would this require all of your photos to be uploaded to some kind of cloud storage?
Surely most smartphones these days could gain access to your photos pretty easily.

I'm probably on my third or so iPhone 6s now. To me phones peaked for me at that point and I don't really see benefit of upgrading it

TBH phones are in kind of a sad state right now. If you want to tinker about a little bit, I'd recommend waiting a couple of weeks and getting the Huawei P50 Pro. I have a P30 Pro myself and can't fathom a single reason why to replace this with anything else except a newer version of the same, it blows all ****sungs and Crapples out of the water (at least for me).

They need to relax the restrictions on Huawei. That company and Xiaomi are pushing the tech in smartphones right now.

* my Mate 20 Pro is going on 3 years old and it gives the newer Apples a run for their money in terms of cameras.
