The german citizens literally believed everything no matter how crazy it seemed.
I used to think how retarded they must have been. Now fast forward to today lmao.
You literally have the people who's entire political and personal beliefs revolve around being against big corporation, they are now praising them and begging people to take their vaccine, happy that they are censoring free speech, police and government locking people down.

I mean it’s hard to set oneself back in history and understand at a reasonable level how you might handle a situation like for example when my college girlfriend’s roommate used to fart out monster chocolate anacondas and clog the toilet horribly causing me to have to aggressively plunger for hours to no avail if I set myself back there I’d probably punch her directly in the hatchet wound but then again I’d probably still be on probation so maybe just calling her a disgusting whore was the best thing to do in retrospect

As already mentioned its not an easy task to "walk a mile" in a post WW1 Germans shoes without having been there. Of course hindsight is 20/20 and it all seems ridiculous now... Without going full professor up in this bitch...
He and other patriotic Germans were outraged and humiliated by the harsh terms of the Treaty of Versailles, which the Allies compelled the new German government, the Weimar Republic, to accept along with an obligation to pay $33 billion in war reparations. Paying this destabilized the economy producing runaway inflation... Along comes Hitler who was an Alpha public speaker that offered a country spiraling out of control a glimmer of hope. So of course a country of full of hungry , desperate people bought into his ideology hook , line , & sinker.
There are some cringeworthy similarities when comparing then & our current situation . But I feel if anything positive has come out of this $hit show thats been the last year and a half... More and more people are starting to question things rather than just blindly following the big talking head that tells you to do as they say not as they do.

If you look at what happen after WWI and Weimar Germany there are a scary amount of similarities. If you apply a lot of what Hitler said to today’s climate, it explains a lot of things. But that requires turning on the subtitles to Hitler speeches instead of just a watching a passionate screaming man, and reading some of his writings without preconceived notions which no one wants to do
