My first and only girlfriend I had was when I was 12, mainly because kids don't give a **** about height at that age. But I've always been the short friend my whole life. All my friends have always been taller than me since we've met, and the gap keeps getting bigger. It's like a joke when we hang out now, because I have 5 main close friends, and 4 of them are over 6 foot, with one of them being 5'10. It always feels like they're babysitting me or something, and I hate it; I hate not being taken seriously all because of my height. I'm 5'6, btw. I feel like I shouldn't be upset about something so insignificant, because relatively speaking, my life is pretty good if we're going by averages; I have both my parents, a roof over my head, food in the kitchen, have a few hobbies that are pretty expensive. I know that my life is better than most people on this planet, so I feel like I should just deal with being short. So I am. I'm still gonna be mad about it, but I'm just gonna ****ing deal with it because other people have it so much worse than me.

5'6 isn't THAT short. It's a disadvantage but nothing you can't overcome
