Tretinoin really is fuking great for facial antiaging

About 3-4 months ago, my face was looking pretty rough. Lots of sun damage from not wearing sunscreen, and some really deep wrinkles were forming in my forehead. Overall a very rugged look, and although I've always looked younger I was beginning to look closer to my actual age of 35.

Randomly sent my General Practitioner a message online asking her to prescribe Tretinoin .1% cream, and after using it only a couple times per week at first have used it every night since. I'm maybe 50% of the way through my first tube(which was like $40), and I seriously look like I'm in my mid 20s again. Fuking crazy.

I recommend anybody to use this stuff. Considering the cost and small amount of effort, it's a nobrainer. I wish I started a few years ago when I still had perfect skin and could have kept it that way. The only gripe is that .1% is probably more concentrated than I actually need, and I may dial it back to a less intense version after a year or two.

yes it's very good in terms of anti-aging. Sunscreen is number one though.

And you better be a sunscreen addict while using tretinoin.... it increases sun sensitivity. and make sure your sunscreen is protecting from UVA rays as well.

I'm not using it everyday, but I do put it on when I plan to spend any significant amount of time it the sun. Definitely important, as I've noticed my skin getting very red when I don't.

use it everyday even if its cloudy...takes an extra minute of your morning to stay looking good.

My skin was pretty irritated for the first few weeks, and a couple of my clients even thought I looked like a drug addict or something. But after like 4-5 weeks I eased into using it every day, and it has been fine since.

Need to wear strong spf sunscreen on your face while outside, or you definitely get some irritation. But other than this, I haven't noticed anything.

Never heard of it before. What is it and how does it work? There's so may different topical creams and pills that claim to reverse aging or make you look younger that I'm really skeptical of it all.

It helps wrinkles, and overall gives a much more even skintone. Makes skin look a lot smoother. I haven't noticed any difference to the darkness under my eyes.

I'd say start at like 2-3 times per week at most, and work your way up to every day after like 4-6 weeks.

It causes your skin cells to regenerate much faster. They basically call it "a drink of water for your skin". My skin looks a lot fresher and more youthful. It's quite impressive. I have not been called "Sir" a single time in the last couple months, and am back to getting looks from girls in their early 20s(which hadn't really happened much over the last few years).

I wanted it to work as quickly as possible, so I was ok with doing the strongest. Seems like most people use .05% though, but I'm happy how quick mine fixed the issues.

start with .025 3ish times a week. moisturize well. well a GOOD sunscreen every day. Slowly increase usage then percentage.

Tried it years ago for a bit of acne. Worked wonders and made my skin clear asf.

Might try it again and ask my doctor

Sounds interesting. I'll look into it. I'm 31 and I already look a few years younger. I just recently started taking care of my health, doing keto, intermittent fasting, exercise, etc. so I might look into adding this to the routine, or maybe when I'm a little older, sine I don't feel or look like I'm 30 yet.
