If you could pick Bill Clinton or Joe Biden

To be president at the moment, who would you choose,

I’ll throw in Nixon too

And why would you choose one over the other? And which political party are you?

Clinton in his prime would have been just as good as Trump right now. Different style, but definitely a strong leader.

I would choose Carter over Biden right now. At least that guy wasn't a creepy p3do on top of being incompetent.

Picked Bill.

Nixon probably did the most damage.

Opened relations with China and ended the gold standard.

You're joking right? Clinton was a good President overall and the 90s were when Democrats weren't fkd in the head yet.

He would blow Biden out of the water. Biden is going to go down as the worst President of the last 50 years.

I’m a registered Republican but I’m further Right than most Republicans socially and further Left economically.

Out of those choices I would pick Nixon, it isn’t even close. He was a fairly decent President comparing him with who came after him. Definitely not Joe Biden, he is the worst President of all time and one of the worst world leaders of all time. As for Bill Clinton, he was ok for a Democrat but still far too liberal for my liking, I’d pick him over W.Bush, Obama, and Biden though.

Joe Biden is a worse version of Jimmy Carter, they mirror each other in many ways with Biden just being worse in every area.

90s were goat decade but thats more that subversion hadnt really set in and less to do do with clinton.

clinton would sell out the country for a 4/10 piece of ass, but he had elite charisma so people gave him a pass for everything.

Trump is essentially a 90s era Democrat. The problem in 2021, the Democrats have gone fullbore CRT fascist and he would just tow that agenda.
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

Bill is honestly decent. Rhoades scholar when it was competitive, climbed from no privilege at all. He fought some disagreeable loyalties. Very skilled politician without some advantages that could have helped him.

I actually think Clinton and Trump share some common attributes; not necessarily positive ones. Clinton is much more intelligent and polished.

Carter seems to be a genuinely good person, and not as bad a president as he was considered a couple of decades ago.

I would take Clinton of those three. If we are working with US presidents in living memory I'm still kind of fond of LBJ though Vietnam was a major f/u looking back. I'm sure that at the time he had military advisors insisting that it was necessary.

My impression of LBJ is that he was a "man's man", a straight shooter, and genuinely was attempting to prioritize the interest of the majority vs. the wealthy and powerful. He and Carter were at least well intentioned and showed real leadership.

After knowing what I know if Clinton and the **** that went down in Arkansas, none of these are good picks. Feels like you have to go back 60+ years to get anyone decent.

It's strange to think Carter might outlive Biden. Carter seems to at least have a moral base, but I guess that doesn't always translate well into being a strong leader.

Nixon. Strong leader. Blamed for covering up a 3rd rate burglary that didn't need to happen. Got us out of Vietnam, did trade with China. Was a good president who won 49 states in 1972.

Well said, Nixon in my opinion is the best President we have had since the 50s till now. Many people like Reagan, there are plenty of things about Reagan that I can criticize, and really any objective Right-winger should criticize. Same thing can be said for Platinum Plan Don. In my opinion Nixon is the best President at least since Eisenhower, possibly since Theodore Roosevelt.
