Remodeled my rental :)

A pipe broke in the winter and the flooded and then that exposed asbestos so they ripped everything out and remediate it. Thank god for home owners insurance

insurance gave me 35k I wasn’t spending more than that. It’s an investment not a home lol

I didn’t spend it all the rest went to pay the mortgage while it was empty

its going for 150 a night, 2 min nights booked and a 75 dollar cleaning fee. Mortgage is low so ya I come out with about a 700 dollar net per month

That’s fantastic. I assume you clean between stays? My folks did this for a bit but ended up changing theirs to long term rentals.

Feels. Honestly, me and the wife are waiting to do a complete overhaul until we move and make our first property a rental. Like you said, it’s so much work.
