Cant relate to people at my work

Everybody at my work all goes storm chasing for fun.

Always playing heavy metal music or talking about PC gaming.

When I try to talk to them about marvel comics or the new post malones they all just stare at me blankly and start talking about sports.

Nobody has even noticed that I put a new funko pop on my desk.

Work is so boring. They put me in charge of Quality Assurance of all the package labeling but the labels are always accurate and I can never find any mistakes. Its a pointless job if everything is well organized and correct in my warehouse.



The jocks at work asked me to play a pick up game and go mountain biking. Who wants to do that, what am I a 16 year old boy I cant believe it, I invited them over for a Harry Potter movie-athon and nobody came.



All my coworkers hobbies seem overly masculine to toxic levels.

We have a guy at work who looks like paul walker, well more muscular and a bit better face but otherwise like him. Hes like the most popular guy here and captain of our company sporting teams. Boss even gave this guy an hour to show everyone his storm chasing footage on a slow friday afternoon, everyone loved it. He brought in his gaming PC and plays it on the projector sometimes.

Cant deny I am jealous of his popularity but Im not hating when I say he does shut down the bathroom for up to an hour at a time.

We have a guy at work who’s the same. He spends a lot of time in the bathroom and claims that he talks with his buddies on some fitness forum. Told us once that people on Reddit thought that he was an internet bot. lol

Yesterday at lunch I tried to bring up women's rights and equal pay for women and everyone started saying i was an indoctrinated marxist. Its been like this at work since 2012. I remember we used to all talk about progressive issues and gay rights but now all those people left. Every day is the same overly masculine topics and these guys always want to on adventures but I just want to stay home and watch netflix.
