Wot do? (Srs)

I live with my friend and his uncle, we are tight like boys from like decade so they don’t hesitate in giving me **** for something wrong

Cliffs

> Took shower, went outside
> Left water heater on accidentally
> I was like 5 yards away from house when I thought for second that I left heater on
> But it’s beta to doubt yourself so I ignored it
> After an hour
> My friends ***gitt uncle apparently showered for first time in 2 weeks and got trapped in corner legit for like 2-3 mins
> He called me just 10 mins ago to cuss me for 2 straight mins (he got asthma or whatever)
> 5 mins away from house rn

Wot do? Should I throw excuse or blame it on my friend like Alpha?
