read the dates of the quotes, especially the Cicero quote, it's not some modern revelation or some secret only historians know. yet we're running head first into a societal wood chipper and people will act surprised when things fall apart as if it came from nowhere. fukn weird.

Thats cuz modern history on the tv and school books is largely from 1 veiwpoint.

You never hear about the critics or counterarguements of that viewpoint, and the important subtopics are mulled over.
