Anybody ever build a kit home?

Some if them are pretty nice. Considering this option with a big piece of land. Cheaper and supposedly easy, but have to figure out chit like HVAC, plumbing, electrical hookups, and all sorts of chit.

Fast misc. Nobody here ever built their own house (not just have built lol)? I figure kit would be the way to go, hell maybe buy some plans and do the work on my own.
