Thanks to my psychosis diagnosis I can probably retire now

Dropped out of university thanks to my mood disorder, then the untreated illness got me landed in a hospital and labeled psychosis.

My memory's been hazy but I don't have a good frame of reference of what's it like having this, so that's why my psychiatrist recommended I apply for disability.

Talked to the government service worker and she's getting in touch with my doctors and work by letter.

My unemployment runs out so hopefully there's no gap between that and the disability cheques.

Got a good duplex in my name and a nice v6 car, I should be good to go amirite?

Having a job isn't hard but I'd rather not spend time working especially with bodybuilding.

Interviewed for two electrical positions and denied two.

I just need a break, much like a sabbatical

Well, you sound at least as mentally impaired as the Canadian politicians that support the idea of the public paying your bills. They get paid to do nothing of value, so I see no reason why you shouldn’t as well.

In order to go on disability here, the box that you will not recover and may never return to work needs to be ticked. Are you expecting this to just be temporary?

Also...don’t take offence....but...do you do drugs?

You should do more hard sparring - there's a good chance getting beat up will actually fix what's wrong. Old bros will remember how you used to fix old TV sets.

Without my meds i dont have motivation lol.

With the sleep med, it's addictive but keeps you asleep.

Psychosis with meds is a sail a whole lot of smoother than untreated bipolar disorder.

I have a cousin who went to rehab today and she's getting some short term disability stuff. Could be other options.
