Does Justified get better?

Watched first 3 episodes last night. So far it looks like it's 1 case/episode (hate that ****), and an underwhelming main story.

Does it go on like this for 6 seasons?

Yep that’s the show. Typical villain of the week with big bad each season


It’s good if you like old school westerns, witty one liners, into southern culture, etc.


But overall not a fantastic show

Ignore the guy who said it's not great.

It's one of the most underrated shows there is, it's probably squeezing it's way into my top 5 shows of all time.

The first few episodes are good IMO, but yes there is usually some kind of narrative going on at all times that spans entire seasons (boyd/raylan, dixie mafia, ava/raylan last few seasons, drew thompson story arc, bennets/limehouse etc - being vague as i can to try not to spoil things), it's not just 1 case per episode in complete isolation.

By season 2 it drops the "baddie of the week" storytelling for season long arcs.

One of my top 5 shows ever. It gets much better stick w it.

The Shield
Justified

I loved it. I've never heard anyone complain about it, and I'm sure you didn't either which is why you're traying to watch it a decade late. Maybe stick with it?

This, the one case per episode is only season 1...they learned real quick that **** sucks...from Season 2 on it's legit.

This. Loved the some of the mid/late arcs. The Boyd/Raylan dynamic was really enjoyable to watch.
