It actually is mate. The altitude smashes you aye. Above 4,500m it gets pretty tough! Can't train for it. If you get a headache that's consistent, you're pretty much screwed bro.

Gave multiple public concerts playing this by memory. Sadly I peaked and stopped playing piano after that otherwise I would have been playing the most difficult pieces by people like Chopin and Rachmaninoff by now. That was back in HS when I was still delusional that I would be a prominent concert pianist despite never being a prodigy or having the ability to hear a song and play it back without music

I never did attend medical school, but after all the work I put into making the decision to go I feel like I could successfully treat a patient if I had to.

Aside from my wife and son, it has to be quitting my previous career 6 years ago and jumping into a completely new field. 6 years later and I've worked my way to the upper echelons of said field. Feelsgoodman

That's pretty badass OP brah!

I'm not sure what is really classified as "achievements" but I guess some possible ones for me would be visiting 47 countries before age 30, making 6 figs before 30 with no degree, HALO dive from 30k feet, eating Fugu without dying, many other random things I can't remember at the moment.

Ready to GTFO and live life to the max again ASAP

Helping someone I loved make it at his dream job. Think of it as my Rocky and Adrian first marriage. Met when we were both young and flat broke, grinding to pay for voice lessons, professional coaching, and traveling to competitions.

He divorced me right after his "big break" after his former professional opera singer coach told him that if he had any doubts he should "divorce her now or else she will be able to take a lot of money from you after you make it".

No idea if he ever got that rich from it, but I'm glad that he is doing what he wanted to do in life. He married an opera chorus singer and they have a daughter I think.

http://www.richardcarlucci.com/english/biography.html

We were together about 9 years. Sucks that we didn't make it, but feels better that at least it wasn't a wasted effort.

I was on the pitch list for Star Trek Voyager in the late 90's. So much fun pitching sci-fi ideas to the producers and writers. Didn't actually sell anything, but they used a few of my sci-fi concepts for different stories. (I told them to, and never felt ripped off)

Learned how to be a better pitch person that may help me out very soon...
