what's the covid situation in the uk

thinking about taking a trip for a week or two, have things opened back up? any difference betwen england, ireland, scotland?
I already know about quarantine and self isolation for travelers, I'm talking about visiting places and things to do.
Barbers offer to cut my throat instead of my hair because of my ugliness crew
Cry myself to sleep while humping mattress and clutching pillow crew
Make eye contact with a girl, pass out and get a concussion crew
T-Mobile worker laughed at me because only had one number for 5-friends/family plan crew
Got jumped and bystanders laughed/recorded it crew
Take out trash and trash man mistakes me for garbage crew
Mom slides food through slot in my door without saying a word crew

In England things are about as normal as they’ll get right now minus masks in transport. Ditto for the Netherlands if you go there.

Starting to hear on the radio "we opened to early to many cases among young people". Either they still trying to scare young people into the unnecessary vaccine or they are setting us up to lock down again in flu season.


Most importantly why the fk are young people still testing, stop getting tested.

You can’t enter the EU (Ireland is in the EU) from USA now. Very recent.

Most are vaccinated in the UK so accept high COVID numbers and some deaths as a price to pay for normality.

You can still, you just have to quarantine depending on the country. Once you're in any EU country you can move around the entire EU. Maybe Ireland's the exception since they're not a part of the schengen area.

the government are always nattering on and trying to scare people, but general life is completely normal. Some people still wear masks, but they are mandatory very few places.

vaguely remember that. at this point with so many fake attacks like that, I just don't really care about any of it. I doubt any of it actually is happening, but really just don't care even if it is happening. what I care about is the same people who perpetrate these hoaxes trying to force vax my family. all I care about is family and friends. 10 years ago I'd shed tears reading news articles about atrocities. now it doesn't even stick with me for more than like 10 seconds, I just don't really care.
