Aware me of good cities to live in

Preferably more moderate
Decent population (I want to be able to play adult soccer leagues again - none near me somehow)
Not crime-ridden
Decent wages to cost of living ratio
Not gonna get fukkin ruined by ice storms or some chit


Basically, I want heaven on earth lol. But obv I'll sacrifice some comfort if needed.


Kinda feeling like Salt Lake City would be a good place to live. Mormons are cool w/ me.

As with anywhere, I'd recommend not being near the main city. Too much chit going on.

If you're rich, Plano, Frisco, Southlake in DFW would be nice.

Far north Dallas is pretty decent to live. Plenty going on and not too much crime.

I live south of Fort Worth in a rural area.

Utah is pretty rad, SLC would be good.

You’re already west so check out Arizona. Going full NC seems appealing. Lots of good towns there.

Probably south Charlotte a little outside the city in like Pineville or Matthews. It checks all your boxes.

I would expect to find more opportunities for an adult soccer league in the Plano/Richardson area.

I would say that the area is moderate, or IOW a mixture. I lived in the general area for about 5 years and I liked it.

Salt Lake City doesn't sound like a bad idea at all tbh. I have some relatives (no Mormon) that live there. Utah is a phucking beautiful state, I've only ever driven through it a couple of times but would love to actually go spend some time out there.

I currently live in Columbus Ohio, and I think it's fairly decent for your criteria. There are a lot of ghettoish areas and people here (though I wouldn't consider it "crime ridden" overall, but I do think the statistics say it is a fairly high crime city so idk), so that's one thing that doesn't align so well with your list.

In LA, Glendale/Burbank/Pasadena + anything on the edges of the SFV are typically your best bet....maybe Alhambra/surrounding areas.
