I often think about the poor office worker taking his caffeine induced dump as floor craters under/over him and that's it, could've been many of us

My dad had a meeting that day in the 80 something floor of one of the towers but he woke up feeling unwell and was late. His train was pulling into the PATH station underneath the buildings when the first plane hit. Still can't really believe how much different my life would have been if he had gotten into work on time that day.

It was surreal watching the israelis who were video recording the event and dancing in anticipation as if they already knew exactly what was going to happen.

Same OP. 9/11 always gives me an eerie feeling. Watching videos etc.

It completely changed the world as we know it. Inside job or not, it was the pinnacle world event of my lifetime up to this very day. When I start watching 9/11 videos I go down the rabbit hole and end up spending hours digging into it.

dont understand how they got into the cockpits. aren't they locked and have a peephole to see whose behind it?

They fukked up though didn't they? Because locking cockpits is what brought down that plane a few years back when the depressioncel copilot LOCKED the other pilot out of the cockpit then nosedived the thing into the mountain.
I think they changed it again so every pilot has a key or some other way of getting in
