inb4 they "expropriate" it so you can "share it" with the homeless and refugees and they claim they are helping you be a "good person"

I've been having this exact thought for a while now. I mean a very very large portion of young people are likely not going to be able to afford a house until they are much older than usual and if you have student loans you're pretty much screwed.

It’s more like a large portion of young people want everything handed to them and dont have any kind of work ethic so they want retarded garbage like above. Not to mention they spend more on bullshiit they think they should own with no proper way to balance a budget. Mind you, someof that video is actually good for us in many ways mainly less emissions and creating organs.

If you think owning land or properties is going to save you, think again. They can take whatever they want and make up any reason to do it.

Miss a tax payment or two and see how much you own it.

How does one protect their “ownership”? Ask any victim of imminent domain and what the government considered “just compensation”.

Responsible money management is no longer enough for a lot of 20-30 year olds to own a house. Look at the wages to real estate graph, its been out of control for 20 years. The last 18 months have sealed the deal for younger generations. 50% price jump in a year with no change in loans qualifications and inventory is still at 1-2 months for most of the country.

Its the hardest its ever been to afford a house.

Responsible money management no longer exists in the minds of many 20-30yr olds. They want the big house now. Millennials are driving up the prices and then turn around whining about it.

I think those ratios are really only terribly skewed in places like NYC, LA, Seattle, San Fran, etc. though right?

I mean, it's anecdotal sure, byt my entire extended family lives in rural Maryland. None of them have college degrees or are particularly intelligent people (which I don't say as a slight), all of them work more or less menial labor or factory type jobs, and every single male (three cousins, one uncle) has a mortgage on a two-story home, a decent newish pickup truck (if not a second car in the family as well), a cute wife, and some kids.

Millenials all want to live in San Francisco and make $100,000/year working for some ghey startup and then act shocked when they can't afford a $1.7 million home.

Same in Russia, if you're buying in Moscow JFL. But you can find a legit, big flat in the center of Saint Petersburg (second biggest city) for about 30% of what it would cost there. It shouldn't be surprising that unless you're in the top 5% of society, you won't be able to live in the top 5% of real estate.
