Have tried to watch Seinfeld and Friends...did not even smirk once.

Spent some time in lockdown (fuk Australia's stupidity).

I decided to try and get into Seinfeld and Friends.

I watched the first 7 seasons of Seinfeld and the first 7 episodes of friends....

Honestly, i gave Seinfeld a bit more of a go because a heap of my friends like it...

...Seinfeld was complete Sh!t. didn't laugh, didn't guffle, didn't even smirk.

Was tough to listen to audience laughter at bits that were not even meant to be funny.

Not sure how people watched either of these two Sh!t shows.

Yeah neither show did it for me.

Most recent show I've watched that made me consistantly laugh is The Office.

Two sides of the same coin. Canโ€™t stand them either
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

Seinfeld was really good at the time, you may not know it watching it now but it was groundbreaking. Friends is just an inexplicably popular sitcom, basically the Big Bang Theory of its era.

I couldn't even watch 7 minutes of Friends, I'd end it all if I was forced to. But fukkin Seinfeld? I don't know, maybe we grew up in a different age. So many neat characters and situations.

Never seen seinfeld but you definitely have to be the right type of person to enjoy friends, thereโ€™s a reason itโ€™s highest rated/most popular sitcom of all time. Btw season 1 is worse than the others
Remember the guy that gave up? Neither does anybody else.

Never watched more than like two minutes of Seinfeld in my life.

Never seen even a minute of Friends.

The Office I just donโ€™t understand the awkward type humor.

Yet I love quality standup comedy like Bill Burr, Patrice Oโ€™Neal, Mitch Hedberg, Louis CK, etc.

I got around to watching the Office and sat there stone faced the whole time. I dunno, maybe it was funny back when that awkward humor was a newish thing, but it was sort of lame to me

I thought The Office had some funny moments, mainly because of Steve Carrell, but I thought it was a good show besides the humor. Of course when Steve left the show, it went downhill. I thought Parks and Rec was a funnier show.

The funniest comedy shows to me though are still South Park and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

Humor changes over time. I enjoyed Seinfeld growing up.

I can remember my parents laughing and enjoying greatly comedy shows from their youth. I'd watch the same shows and wonder what they found funny. They were awful I thought.

Seinfeld takes a bit to get going. Seasons 1 and 2 were meh. 3 is starting to get good, and season 4 is when the show really starts to shine.

But it's a "you gotta be there to know why it was so good." It's on TV Tropes:https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.p...nfeldIsUnfunny

Friends on the other hand I have always strongly disliked lol\.

In all seriousness I watched The General (Buster Keaton) and thought it was really good. Got me kind of into silent films.
