I don't know much about him or his past, but it seems like law of attraction at work tbh. Perhaps he spent so much time living in character, i.e gangster/drug addict thoughts that he became one. He basically tuned himself the frequency of drug addiction. Could have been the opposite also, of course. Regardless, RIP.
