Why is the standard for an attractive woman so varied, but for men so clearly defined

As a woman you can be: tall, short, average height, skinny, skinnyfat, "curvy", flat boobs, big boobs, blonde, brunette etc etc etc.

Men will find a WIDE range of women attractive of all shapes and sizes, you know, some like tall runway models, some like busty bimbos, some like the cute little girl look with flat chest. It goes on.

But when it comes to men...

6'1", blue eyes, abs, tan, chiseled jaw, Hunter eyes, "that haircut"

Like you get told to think of an attractive man and I'm sure we are all imagining a very similar looking guy, the standard is well defined.

Why is there such a difference?

BTW I also think makeup has played a massive part in this.

Due to makeup almost any girl can at least have a pretty face now, unless she's like grotesquely deformed or something. As we know looks is all about the face so it's a huge advantage for them.

Hunter eyes is the opposite of prey eyes and they are what set Chad apart from the flock. And you know that haircut, that one Chad has but looks stupid if you get it.

the standard for attractive men are getting wider (but not as wide for women). Many women (regardless of race) think Korean pop stars and actors look very attractive
