Of course, they said it was never going to be "forced" but we all knew they'd just make life miserable and impossible for anyone without the vax anyway. Now a housemate tells me this morning that the unvaxxed might be kept inpermanentlockdown. That is, if you are even caught outside your area you get a fine. Just for existing and being unvaccinated outside. I hope this isn't true, but it wouldn't surprise me in the least if it eventuated.



Now, I've had an idea for awhile to get an off-grid cabin with moderate accommodations, independent power source, water and fresh food, in a location that's as remote a f and very difficult to find even if one wanted to. I contacted people who specialize in this sort of thing, and the upfront cost to get completely self-sufficient is just shy of 70k. With my remaining money, assuming I stocked up adequately before leaving, I could hold out for years and possibly even over a decade. It would be a very simple, agrarian life-style and I pass the time reading and through creative activities, but I'd have escaped.


Question is, with the rate things are going, should I? Consider it like the vacuum guy from Breaking Bad, for a similar sum you're disappeared forever.
