Lamborghini is giving me a Urus to try out

I have not been real big on the Urus. But out of the blue, one of the reps from Lambo asked if I wanted to try a Urus.

I thought this would be a typical demo. But they said I can pick it up AM and keep overnight if I want.

Hard to turn that down. The specs are impressive. 0-60 3.2 , 641 hp...etc. But I just dont love them.

Guess I will get a chance to find out how it is to drive.

I will report back my thoughts......

Never seen a decently specced one. From the back ok but lambo really chickened out with the rest of the styling. Disappointing.

I thought so. Was not expecting it. Guess the factory gave them one to loan out and promo with some of their current base. Pretty cool. And it kinda has worked. I have been on the fence of what to do, but we are going to 'talk' while I am there. They are going to put my car in the showroom over night (so it does not sit outside over night). Kinda weird. Dont think of myself as much, so kinda surprised when they asked me really. Flattered in some weird way, but they are good people down there and run a good business. It was nice that they thought of me.

I am with you totally, and that is why I am interested to try it. They said I could have an Huracan Evo Spyder or the Urus. I have kind of been there done that with the Huracan and the sypder, so I figured I would try something I have never even thought of considering.

That is why I am kind of excited to try this and see if I change my mind on it.

Wow that interior looks really uncomfortable for an SUV. Pretty stupid how they tried to make it all exotic performance car in there, should have been more luxurious as it's still an SUV. With that seating it seems like it would get claustrophobic in there.

Does the handling justify it?

Ive seen a few in person and while they look nice its not really to my liking overall, something about the proportions just doesnt do it for me. I dont understand who they are trying to market this car to.

That is funny. I think that was probably from Pier 1 maybe 20 years ago. Only reason I know that, is we recently had to get more daily silverware and it was impossible to find something built well, but simple. I like simple stuff man.... I dont believe that paying more for something makes it better.....

Just like I also own a Kia, a nissan, and a VW along with Mercedes and Lotus and Lamborghini. But each have their purpose.
