Why is there a lack of superman movies?

When you think about it there have been two Superman movies in this millenium. Imagine

You had Superman Returns in 2006 after almost 20 years without film about him and then 2013 Man of Steel and since then nothing.

Sure he was in Batman V Superman but seriously

No solo movie for Superman in almost 10 years.

Spiderman has so many movies, Batman has been getting movies left and right. Even Captain America got killed off and he will be getting new one.


I mean that can only mean that WB and the producers dont know how to properly use this character, there is no other explanation.

Still awaiting a live action injustice series. There's and animated one coming out though. DC needs to get their chit together.

this. not sure about the comics or whatever lore, but the only people he fights is "MUH KRYPTONITE"

He's not that compelling of a character because he could just kill the bad guy in like five minutes if he wanted to.

I love DC characters, but Superman had been the only hero I couldn't really identify with. (Though I love all Superman movies.)

It's probably because he'd been too perfect.

On the other hand, I love Hancock, he has flaws.



Superman needed some flaws for us to identify with.

But Henry Cavill's "Man in Steel" changed that and I love the franchise.

It's pity that Ben Affleck won't be in the future Batman movies.
