If I smoked, it would be only Marlboros.

I don't smoke. But if I did it would be only Marlboros.

They just look classier and more high quality. They seem to pack a stronger punch in flavor. Lol.

I have tried 100 different brands and variation of cigarettes, but Marlboro Red is the best and my only favorite.

Nice.

I guess they are expensive for a reason and are in such high demands.

But like I said, I don't smoke. But if I did, Marlboros would be my first choice based on the design of the packaging, word of mouth, and observation. Their tabacco game is just on a different level.

Yea I know they are cancer sticks. That's why I don't smoke.

But I do appreciate the high quality marketing. I try to apply the concepts and principles to other products that are actually good for you.

When I was a teenager, one summer I worked in a 7-11 store.

You could racially profile (and also by gender and age) what cigarettes brand were going to be bought by the customer when you saw the people first get out of the cars in the parking lot.

Don't know if that was the result of targeted advertising - - - Virginia Slims to women, menthol flavor to black men, the "Marlboro Man" to cowboy-wannabees, etc. or actually true preferences.

Marlboro paid to have their product front and center in the displays. Some old guys still smoked Camel, Pall Mall, or Lucky Strike unfiltered. They were on the bottom row.

I was so innocent back then, that one guy came in and said "hey man, you got papers", and I pointed to the rack by the door with the New York Times and Wall Street Journal.

When it comes to smokers, I respect those who do Marlboro Reds.

I knew one guy who smoked unfiltered camels. That was close to 20 years ago, I wonder if he's alive?
