Is there an MTB crew here?

Would like to join just got a new 29er hard tail. Want to do some 1x conversions and dropper post. Also still have a 26er Trek that I’m Thinking of selling to cover any upgrades. Should I keep it or sale it? I thought of redoing one for my kid but feel it may go to waste due to not having interest.

Someone do us a sweat MTB crew

Also I bought a 29er brand new Trek Marlin 6. It’s a 2018 (which is great because it’s never been risen). It doesn’t have a 1x unfortunately. It does have the hole in the seat stem that allows internal dropper post run and all internal wiring. It’s not too of the line by any means but I’m really just getting started.
This body holding me, be my reminder here that I am not alone.
Makes me feel eternal, all this Pain is an Illusion.

26 is wayyy outdated

Most [legit] mountain bikes $800+ will be 1x, if you can find one lol

In on MTB crew.

I have Giant Talon 1, but depending on living situation may look into buying a full suspension Norco or Specialized.

Of course, this is wishful thinking because finding one for msrp is very difficult.

Marlin is decent mtn bike.

Upgrading isnt worth it though, it will put you halfway to a specialized fuse.

If you are doing light mtn biking, no need to upgrade.

The used market is ridiculous, you could sell it for more than you bought it.
