BC the misc LOVES prenup talk
I'm going to a bachelorette party for an upcoming wedding. Bach is in oct - Wedding is in Dec. Bride is getting all her last action item to do's done. While at my place chilling by the pool getting our tan on this wonderful bish surprised me (in the best possible way) by randomly asking me if I knew of any family lawyers that handle prenuptial agreements. (She's the one who earns the big bucks)
I absolutely do, my lawyer who planned my will & living will for me also offers these services. Sent her his contact and paperwork is in motion now.
Now she's asking me when and how she should bring this up to her fiancé since it hasn't formally been discussed. She's worried about his feelings since it's actually going on paper now. She's mentioned it before and he said he agrees however this was ages ago before they ever got engaged.
For amusement purposes.. I would like to know how would you boyos would want it brought up to you?

Pics of "chilling by the pool getting our tan on"
K, thanks bye.
-How long have they been together?
-What's the variance on her "big bucks" vs his?
-Why wait till 3 months before the weeding to spring this on him?

Something they probably should have talked about before getting engaged but there is no way to slowly bring up the conversation. Just talk about it, preferably in a private area.

The guy sounds like a cuck. He will probably thank her for making him sign it.

If my girl is uber rich(50million+), and I'm about to live the good life. Who cares?
If my girl just makes more money than me, (I make 80k, she makes 300k), then I just wouldn't go through with the marriage.
Why you may ask? Well in my opinion marriage is desired much more by the female than the male, therefore we can deduce most males ask their female to marry them mostly to make them happy if the man thinks its a stable good decision that wont crash and burn. Why would a male get married to a female who doesn't make enough money to "Change his life" when she is then going to make him sign a paper saying she wont share any financial benefits he may have come into through this arrangement, when likely the catalyst of this whole thing was to please the female. Its a lose lose.
I will go further and say as a man who made more money than their partner by a fair margin (she makes 50k, I make 500k+)... I would probably make her sign a prenup because once again she benefits from this relationship more than me (because of some weird biological/societal structure) so why risk her not only taking my time but then money if things were to go south where I literally leave with nothing from this whole arrangement but she wins either way.

- Gap is quite decent. She owns her house and 2 other properties, comfortable over 6 figs as a nuclear plant auditor. She's about to buy a vacation home in costa rica. (Her dream is to retire there) He drives her vehicles since he doesn't own one. He's in construction and doesn't own any property. Awesome dude. I love them together.
- She said she wasn't originally planning on getting one but recently she watched her sister go through an ugly divorce so it made her think twice.

Given that he's driving her cars since he doesn't own one and such, he clearly knows he's getting the better deal in this marriage from a financial standpoint. Due to that, if I were in his shoes, 5 years together and wanting marriage, it would've been ideal to have prenup discussions prior to engagement. That said, I'm in his shoes today and the wedding is already planned and all, it might come off a little hasty and awkward to suddenly drop the prenup idea out of nowhere... "what you don't trust me?" might enter the head.
TBH, you know what I'd recommend for them? Don't let this monkey wrench their situation.
Instead, after the wedding, after the honeymoon, do aPOSTnuptial agreement, srs. Same thing, just done after marriage begins.
EDIT: Also, it might seem a little inconsiderate if he proposed to her without even, on his own initiative, bringing up the subject first, since he's the one who dropped the "surprise lets get married" bomb shell on her in the first place. An imbalance of incomes should always warrant a discussion at the very least, even if you're on the "better side of the deal".

Assuming you're not trolling, most dudes these days are weak. I am sure just marrying her, if she is as successful as she sounds (and assuming she's attractive), will be a win enough for him. He won't fuk it up by saying no to a prenup; he has a phenomenal win, and presumably cares about her too. His ego and his heart won't let him back out of it.
If the genders were flipped, there would be concern. A woman (regardless of status) usually views herself as the prize in any relationship, so they are more likely to argue and get emotional about it, since they think they have leverage.
Like another dude said, it should be talked about prior to giving him the stuff to sign. It should have been more thoroughly discussed prior to this stage... wedding planned, booked, etc. Its kind of messed up to wait this long and drop it in the 11th hour, but I don't blame your friend for wanting to protect her stuff.
Edit- I don't believe you when you say you got no pics from the pool.

The fact she brought this up with her gfs without already being on the same page with him about it, is such a huge red flag.
