The lack of space for my stuff is annoying already.
Thinking about buying a travel trailer so can chill inside.

"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

People who think that 'van life' is sustainable long-term are the same kind of people who'd fall for the Marxist scam.
No, there is no such thing as long term life in a vehicle just like there's no such thing as communism.
No, you haven't discovered some new way to live.
[I'm not referring to long-term life in an equipped RV with running water, stove, commode, shower etc, which is doable but can be miserable long-term]

I like indoor plumbing too much to give it up like that. And most of the friendly 24 hour places stopped staying open overnight when the apocalypse went down. I do kind of want to buy a commercial van and lightly kit it out for the occasional day trip or overnight stay somewhere. I'd love to be able to take it to the middle of nowhere for a change of pace while working/writing/etc, or go be by myself in a thunderstorm, or go watch a horror movie in a place that is allegedly haunted.

Look, you're my best friend, so don't take this the wrong way but, in 20 years if you're still here postin' in hhhnnnggg threads, beggin' for mod reps, and braggin' about whales you harpooned from POF, I'll f'in kill ya. That's not a threat, that's a fact, I'll f'in kill ya. You got somethin' none of us have, and you don't owe it to yourself man, you owe it to me. Cuz tomorrow I'm gonna wake up and I'll be red, and I'll still be a socially awkward/FA. And that's all right.

Also you're gonna be living in an overly humid box a lot of the time without A/C to remove the moisture that you're releasing into the van.Why is this ?
Without spending a large amount of money on gas-ran heating and cooling for it, then that's gonna be the case. No you cannot run enough solar on a van to properly heat and cool one which takes far more electricity than two small solar cells can provide, especially considering it's not insulated and instead made of conductive metal and will gain and lose heat very rapidly
Then you aren't going to have a shower or bath, a proper commode, a fridge big enough to hold a comfortable amount of food, and other amenities that make life not only comfortable but survivable.
Then if you do have enough stuff in the van to even be able to survive, you're going to be miserably confined to an insanely tight living space.
It's not the dream world that clowns on YT and Insta are making it out to be, but I'm sure the home buyers like Blackrock will be thankful you fell for it.
Again, I'm not talking about a true RV or camper hooked up to running water and electricity somewhere, with a commode and shower either hooked to a external or internal septic.
With the way things are going, if you own a home right now you better be doing everything you can to keep it.
The 'van life' is a new age scam and only mentally defective useful idiot fools will fall for it thinking they can do that long-term easily and successfully.
Can you do it for a short period of time in discomfort? Yeah maybe for very hardy people. Can you make a good life out of it? Absolutely hell no not, and no properly thinking person would think that.

The problem with most van builds is that they lack a toilet/shower and unless you get a large van (too expensive) they're simply too cramped
