Thinking about a 2017 sienna but it's got some engine noise, can car brahs advice?

https://streamable.com/810l4x

As title says I'm thinking to buy this car and everything is great except when the associate rolled it out (CarMax) I immediately became aware of the engine. It's not a strong knock or anything but just significant enough you can notice it at idle. The normal tick of the engine but louder. Cars only got 8k on it so I can't imagine what issue it could have if any. Any advice?

as a car guy, theres nothing wrong. its probably just the ticking of the injectors. pretty much all direct injection engines tick like that. if the car was ****ed carmax would just auction it off. they don't sell cars with major issues

If the engine is louder than normal it's usually a sign of lack of maintenance. Remember, it's only going to get worse as it ages more. Anyone who gives you that "yeah but it's a toyota" just punch them in the throat.

If you really want, call up the nearest mechanic with good reviews and ask to inspect. its suppose to be like a 100 dollars for them to drive there and check it out
