As a Latino, I can say they can screw off with that crap. I live by San Francisco and have never heard another Latino use that silly phrase. Probably just goofy professors and people that arent Latin wanting to be woke.

It's been touched upon in this thread, but I have literally never heard a Hispanic person use Latinx in real life. This comes from my experience living near Hispanic communities and working with people of that background as well.
