I've got it from years of working in clubs. Doesn't bother me tbh.

Had it all my life but last year it turned reactive. Reactive tinnitus is way worse than standard

Yes, both ears constant. Attribute it to things going boom and bang around me when I was younger.

Also have a real difficult time carrying on a conversation in a noisy place like a bar.

I've had it since I was young. Played drums. I mostly ignore it, but it helps to have white noise from something when you sleep.

I developed it last year around November.

Partied for most of my 20s in clubs without ear protection (stupid, I know).

It’s pretty mild, though and I never raise the volume past halfway or so anymore…also avoid loud areas and use the dB meter on my apple watch more often.

I sleep with Bose sleepbuds (playing a dripping water track) and brown noise playing from a speaker - otherwise, it bothers me enough to mess with my sleep if I’m not tired enough.

Through mitigation measures, it’s gotten a lot more subdued now and it’s more of a slight hiss during the mornings and beeeeeeeeeeeep throughout the day.

Some drug called Lipoflavinoid supposedly helps, but I've never tried it.

You get used to it brah, have had it for over a decade now. I don't hear it, even in complete silence, unless I think about it or seek it out.
