Misc any cookbook suggestions?

Want to diversify my healthy cooking, instead of just ground turkey, grilled chicken thighs and rice. Any suggestions? Want to take a trip to a Barnes and Nobles tomorrow. (No Homo) (Ded fkn Srs)

My favorite is, The Complete Mediterranean Cook Book by America’s Test Kitchen.
Has a lot of great recipes in it if you’re interested in Mediterranean meals.

It was the book that got me started when I couldn't cook worth a shhit. I liked that it had good pictures in it so you can see what the finished product should look like as well as pictures at the different stages of making it. Seems like a stupid thing but it helped a bunch compared to books without them.

Just google a recipe for whatever you’re trying to cook. Buying cookbooks is whack. I’ve got about a dozen you can have

I don't have any specific cookbooks I would recommend, BUT if you have a Kindle I would keep an eye on slickdeals as Amazon gives away free cookbooks for Kindle on a weekly basis, at least. I have about 150 cookbooks for it, no joke. the most I ever paid for any of them was $2.99 and I only bought 3. The rest are all free.

I second this recommendation 100%. I shared the spatchcocked chicken recipe from this cookbook with lightsarefallin here a while back, and I’ve basically cooked my way through this book and haven’t found a dud. In fact, I would recommend taking a look at any of the ATK/Cook’s Country cookbooks as their recipes are easy to follow, identify common pitfalls and utilize easy-to-source ingredients.

No Crumbs Left Behind by Terri Turner - Whole30

Eat This Book by Tyler Florence - Global, Fresh

Honorable Mention to any Ina Garten/Barefoot Contessa Cookbook because although they are foolproof nd delicious, her recipes are not always the healthiest possible preparation.

Any must-try recipes from The Food Lab? I received it as a gift and while I found the “Science of…” and beer cooler sous-vide sections interesting I haven’t actually made any of the recipes.

This. You can basically make your own cookbook. I have two big binders full of recipes that I've printed out over the years. I have them separated in sections depending on the type of food and holiday sections as well.
