The next time you're reassured because it has 'FDA approval'

[ul]
  • Big pharma spend the most lobbying in government, nearly x3 what they do in oil and gas (which is 2nd). For reference in 2019 it was $228m while oil and gas was $92m

  • [/ul][ul][li]The FDA receive 70+ % of its drug regulatory budget from the pharmaceutical companies it supposedly regulates[/li]
[/ul][ul][li]The FDA more often than not does not conduct its own studies to verify results, but instead trusts the studies coming from the companies it is supposed to be regulating.[/li]
[/ul][ul][li]The FDA has also previously approved glyphosate, troglitazone, vioxx, thimerosal, rBGH etc ...[/li]
[/ul][ul][li]CDC members own large shares of big pharma companies and own 50 vaccine related patents.[/li]
[/ul][ul][li]Scott Gottlieb was the FDA commissioner from 2017-19 - he helped expedite the approval process of experimental drugs. Today he no longer works for the FDA, but is on the board of directors at Pfizer. (lmao what is this corrupt bullchit)[/li]
[/ul][ul][li]Every mainstream news outfit shares at least one board member with at least one pharmaceutical company[/li]
[/ul][ul][li]The pharmaceutical industry accounts for nearly 70% of news media advertising, and the pharmaceutical industry pays them billions for advertising.[/li]
    [/ul]
    Look into yourself, all verifiable.

What makes you think the government and the media, with clear financial ties to pharmaceutical companies, are painting an accurate picture of the efficacy and safety of their drugs?

lmfao at this country, what a diseased corrupt ****ing hellhole

This is all clear as day, right out in the open and no one within a position of authority is doing ANYTHING about it....let that sink in.

I remember years ago seeing Chantix commercials every day for helping to quit smoking.

Now they just pulled it because "oops it causes cancer".

People who blindly trust big pharma and the government just get what they deserve honestly

FDA approval doesn't mean much to me and hasn't for years. It is just a company that paid enough to go through their approval process.

I have a better opinion of some of the private quality approval firms or religious groups such as orthodox kosher.

Did y’all know that Washington and Jefferson despised the federalists? They both well knew that the Fed was capable of immeasurable corruption and they were strongly opposed to it. Jefferson voiced, very adamantly, that an ever growing government could become as corrupt as a monarchy. If they ever knew what socialism was in the corruption that it would have on a society, I guarantee you they would not have formed it. There may have actually been another war over it (welfare is oppression and corrupting, and therefore tyranny) What’s even more interesting is that John Adams tried to give the President of the United States the title of a monarch, like “your highnesses” etc. He was an authoritarian at heart. Watch til the end. Washington gives him Adams an F you. After watching it, now consider the fact that the federal government uses money to control the states and private businesses

Worked at a grocery store when I was younger. We had a pharmacy inside. One day I looked at the sales report. Mind was blown. Srs. It's crazy how much money Americans spend on drugs. Way more than food.

One thing to keep in mind when discussing this too. Be careful what you hold physicians accountable for. These hospitals are the issue more than the physicians. The industry has become to customer service oriented, and with all of the liability involved these days and people suing, it has become more about customer satisfaction scores than it is about the treatment itself. People WANT pills and the hospitals encourage the bad behavior only because it brings the patients back, NOT because its in the best interest of the patient. This is ALL facilities now. In fact, some of these scores are monitored by guess who? I'll give you three guesses...

Everybody constantly talking about democrats and republicans, when the real problem is that EVERY three letter agency in the US is completely broken, rotted to the core with the corruption of beasts who have been there for decades, and don't have the burden of being elected by the people.

Thomas Sowell said that one year in politics was enough to change his mind on socialism and marxism. He came to the conclusion that they all do whatever they have to do in order to protect their jobs, NOT whats in the best interest of the people. When he started digging and realizing how bad the policies were, his colleagues were like "WTF are you doing!? You're going to ruin us!"

Its nothing more than making sure the job is secure, not making good policies. Good policy means LESS jobs for government.

Big Pharma was behind the original banning of OJ and then the subsequent classification to a controlled drug.

Instead of going after money trails, post examples of FDA approved products that are harmful to people. I'm sure you can find some.
