How can you call it a homicide without knowing the cause of death?

They say "the cause of death is still pending", yet they also say it's a homicide. In order to know it's a homicide, you would HAVE to know the cause of death. This shyt smells funny.

yeah something's off to me too

possible maybe he told his parents he locked her out the car and she stormed off and eventually died, so LE knows this and this make it homicide?

other option is she had a cause of death like broken hyoid and LE are hiding it for use when they interrogate him

Im bumpin this because its been 2 more weeks and they still wont tell us the cause of death.

if the cause of death is undetermined, how can you call it a homicide?
