Due to Covid room service is closed
I am staying at a hotel that has closed room service due to Covid. Yet the bars and restaurants are open. How is being in a bar or restaurant better than eating in your room because of Covid?

In several industries 'due to COVID' is just a great excuse to discontinue services they no longer wish to provide. It's possible that it is truly due to COVID, but more because they are understaffed than for safety.

Most of the reductions come from not being able to hire staff. The entire service industry seems to have shrugged off work.

I mean technically they are right.
Because of covid we handed out ubi
No one wants to work in kitchens when they can collect ubi
So they donโt have staff to run operations cuz covid!
