There was this lil boy in my line with his mom

she went to get something at the last second
he begged me to slow down
I scanned his items as fast as possible
when I was done I asked him to pay
he started crying

Legit had panic attacks as a kid whenever this happened and my mom liked to make it happen on a regular basis.

Worse is when she did it late in the evening when the store was packed and I thought I'd get in trouble for holding up the lines as a young kid.

I would love to have that as my only stressors for the week nowadays.
